New ARTsite Sculpture on Display at Howard County Department of Education

A new sculpture is on display outside the Howard County Department of Education building. Titled “Angular Separation,” the 250-pound sculpture was created by artist Hanna Jubran and installed on July 25 as part of the Howard County Arts Council ARTsites annual public art exhibition.
Free Student RTA Bus Passes for Start of 2022-2023 School Year

Howard County Police Department’s Implementation of Body Worn Cameras

Beginning Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, all Howard County Police Department School Resource Officers and patrol officers will wear body worn cameras, in alignment with the newly implemented Howard County Police Department Body Worn Camera program

For the second year, HCPSS’ Office of School Counseling is offering March to the Future, a free, comprehensive online series that provides workshops on topics related to post-high school planning.
2022-2023 Evening School Registration Open Through Sept. 23, 2022

Online enrollment requests for fall semester and year-long courses through the Innovative Pathways Evening Program are open through 6 p.m. on Friday, September 23. Enrollment requests may be submitted online through HCPSS Connect Synergy using the directions available online.
