HCPSS Job & Hiring Fair, January 24, 2022

HCPSS is hosting a hiring fair to address current staff shortages in multiple areas. No registration is needed to attend the event. Masking is required. To be interviewed, attendees must have completed and submitted the online application and meet minimum qualifications for the position(s) for which they have applied.

HCPSS Hiring Fair, December 14, 2021

HCPSS is hosting an interview fair on Tuesday, Dec. 14 from 3-5 p.m. at the Applications and Research Laboratory for individuals who are interested in employment as teachers, nurses, counselors and speech-language pathologists for the current school year. Attendees must pre-register prior to the fair in order to interview either in-person or virtually. Walk-in participants are welcome between 3-4:30 p.m. and will be provided with information about the school system and steps to apply, but will not have the opportunity to interview on site.

HCPSS is hosting a bus driver hiring fair to help address its current bus driver shortage. Event attendees will have the opportunity to interview with HCPSS bus contractors and potentially be hired on the spot. No registration is required to attend the event.

Apprenticeship Maryland Student Works on Hammond HS Construction

Long Reach High School senior Christopher Borja is enjoying his electrical apprenticeship with Altimate Electric through the Apprenticeship Maryland program, which is in its second year at HCPSS. The Career and Technical Education academy enables students to “earn and learn” through on-the-job training and related instruction, and can lead to certification, licensing, and in some cases, the completion of year one of registered apprenticeship.
