Schools Begin Collection and Distribution of Materials

HCPSS schools have begun the process of collecting materials used by students during the 2019-2020 school year and distributing materials for use during the 2020-2021 school year.
Materials Drop Off
Materials must be returned to the school they were borrowed from (i.e. the student’s 2019-2020 school). Each school is scheduling its collection and distribution dates, and communicating those directly with families. Parents whose child is at a new school for the 2020-2021 year should check the website of their 2019-2020 school for drop off information. Prior to being inventoried, all materials returned will sit for a four-day period as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Materials Pick Up
Materials (i.e. textbooks, media materials, instruments, etc.) for the fall will be available for pick up at the school your child is enrolled in for the 2020-2021 school year. At the elementary school level, all materials including Chromebooks will be distributed by Friday, September 4. Schools will send a communication with the date(s) of distribution and any pertinent information.
