Derrick Burks, Day Supervisor, Cedar Lane School

Cedar Lane School Day Building Supervisor Derrick Burks goes above and beyond his duties every day, and it’s evident in the way the students care for him. For his part, Derrick says that seeing the Cedar Lane students come to school every day in the face of their respective challenges makes him want to try harder and do better.
