Jennifer Donmoyer, Social Studies Teacher, Wilde Lake High School

Wilde Lake High School teacher Jennifer Donmoyer brings her psychology background to her Social Studies classroom every day by focusing on “the why’s.” Donmoyer said, “Social Studies is so varied. I’m always interested in teaching about the people, what they were going through and other factors. I tell my students, ‘here’s the story.’ My kids appreciate that.

Dunloggin Middle School Partners With Oriole Advocates to Promote Community Involvement

Garvin visited Hammond High School today to celebrate October as Children’s Health Month and praised the Howard County Public School System’s implementation of best practices for maintaining good indoor air quality in all its facilities.

Bollman Bridge Elementary School recently welcomed new teacher and Team USA Paralympian Cortney Jordan home from the Rio where she won four medals in swimming events to add to her growing collection. Students say that Jordan, who interned at Bollman Bridge last year, inspires them to persist through challenges.
