HCPSS students now have a new way to access Howard County Library eContent in the classroom, at home, or anywhere they need to do homework or research. The Howard County Library System (HCLS) and the Howard County Public School System have launched the A+ Student Card to deliver the library system’s extensive catalog of electronic resources directly to students.

Board Begins Process to Select a Permanent Superintendent

The Howard County Board of Education voted at its regularly scheduled meeting on August 17, 2017, to move forward with the process to select a permanent superintendent for the Howard County Public School System.
Discrimination, Bullying Policies Updated

HCPSS recently updated implementation procedures for Policy 1010: Discrimination and Policy 1060: Bullying, Cyberbullying, Harassment, or Intimidation. The latest versions are now online. Policy 1010 is currently under review. The Board is scheduled to take action on the revised policy on February 8, 2018.
