The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) will host three College and Career Readiness Regional Meetings for parents to provide an overview of the trajectory toward graduation and strategies to support children at home.
HCPSS Earns A+ on 2016 Healthy School Food Maryland Report
The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) received an “A+” and was the only Maryland school system to earn an “A” on the 2016 School Food Environment Grades report from Healthy School Food Maryland.
Howard County is Maryland’s Only School System Named to AP District Honor Roll
The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) is Maryland’s only school system on the 7th Annual AP District Honor Roll, and one of 433 school districts in the U.S. and Canada being honored by the College Board. To be included on the 7th Annual Honor Roll, HCPSS had to increase the number of students participating in AP while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning Advanced Placement (AP) Exam scores of 3 or higher since 2014. Reaching these goals shows that a district is successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are ready for AP courses.
