HCPSS Seeks Citizen Members for Ethics Panel, Deadline April 30, 2018
The Howard County Board of Education is seeking citizens to serve on the Howard County Public School System Ethics Panel. The Ethics Panel oversees the school system’s Ethics Regulations, advises the Board on matters related to conflict of interest and financial disclosure, and provides advisory opinions to employees on the applicability of the Ethics Regulations to specific situations.

Howard County Regional History Day Winners Move on to State Level Competition
The Howard County Public School System recently hosted its 14th annual History Day Competition at Reservoir High School. After months of researching, 282 students in Grades 6–12 presented on topics that relate to this year’s National History Day theme of “Conflict & Compromise in History.”

Howard County to Host Regional History Day Competition, March 17, 2018
The Howard County Public School System will host its 14th annual History Day Competition on Saturday, March 17, at Reservoir High School in Fulton, Maryland. The open house for the public is from 12:30–2 p.m. in the cafeteria and documentary projects are shown in the auditorium from 2–2:30 p.m.
