MSDE Math Policy Family Information Sessions – June 2, 10, 18, and 27, 2026

Maryland will implement revised PreK-8 mathematics standards in the 2026-27 school year, accompanied by a statewide shift toward more structured and consistent student support practices. The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) will hold four virtual information sessions to assist parents and families in understanding these changes and learn about how they can use MSDE resources to support student learning at home. The sessions will be held on the following dates:

• Tuesday, June 2: 8-9:30 a.m.
• Wednesday, June 10: 12-1:30 p.m.
• Thursday, June 18: 6:30-8:00 p.m.
• Saturday, June 27: 9:30-11 a.m.

Interested participants must register online. Registration for each event will close 1 hour prior to the start time.

Virtual meeting links will be sent to all who register prior to each event. Participants are encouraged to submit questions when completing the online registration form.
