Wilde Lake HS Teacher Wins 2021 STEM Educator of the Year

Wilde Lake High School science teacher and instructional team leader Jamie Proctor was recently named a STEM Educator of the Year by the Maryland Tech Council. This award honors Ms. Proctor’s commitment to STEM education and the extraordinary dedication demonstrated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Proctor is noted for creating a simultaneously rigorous and supportive classroom, as she ensures that her students are engaged in authentic learning experiences.

Proctor was recognized for her award at the June 10, 2021 HCPSS Board of Education meeting.
