This program may serve as prevention education for students, or even parents, educators, or general community members who are interested in learning more or may be concerned for a youth’s risk of using tobacco products. This free educational program includes:
- Information about the risks and harms of using:
- Tobacco (cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, smokeless tobacco)
- Electronic Cigarettes
- Dissolvable Products
- Waterpipes/Hookahs
- Marijuana
- Opportunity for students to assess their own patterns of use and to learn skills to adopt healthier lifestyles.
Administrators or parents can complete the enrollment form for students who are referred to the class or are just simply interested in learning more about vaping and what support resources are available for youth. Once enrollment forms are completed and received, HCHD will confirm receipt of form to student/parent.
