Board Schedules Closed Session and Reschedules Work Session, June 10; Postpones Budget Adoption

The Howard County Board of Education has scheduled a closed meeting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. The meeting will begin in open session before the Board makes a motion to meet in closed session. The Board will not return to open session after the meeting.

The Budget Work Session, previously scheduled for 9 a.m., is rescheduled to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10.

The Board has postponed adoption of the FY21 Operating and Capital Budget and FY22-26 Capital Improvement Program, previously scheduled at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, to a future date to be announced.

The presentation of the Feasibility Study, previously scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, instead will take place at 3:30 p.m., and will be immediately followed by the regularly scheduled Board meeting.
