Longtime Bus Contractor Recognized at Board of Education Meeting

Jenny Mullinix, who is retiring after running Mullinix Bus Service with her husband Ed for 52 years, was recently recognized at the Board of Education meeting on July 11.

She was the first female bus contractor with HCPSS and has been recognized nationally by the National School Transportation Association for her service. Tens of thousands of HCPSS students benefited from her company’s services, which had an impeccable safety record.

HCPSS Superintendent Michael J. Martirano described Mullinix as “the consummate professional and a true role model for other bus contractors to follow.”
