HCPSS Celebrates 2019 Korean Cultural Exchange Program

HCPSS leaders and board members joined representatives from South Korea’s Iksan school district to celebrate the 12th annual Korean summer cultural exchange program during a closing ceremony held July 26, 2019 at Patapsco Middle School.

The ceremony, which included performances by the visiting Korean students, culminated the three-week program hosting 26 middle school students and three teachers from Iksan, the HCPSS partner school district in South Korea. The students attended English language classes each morning with HCPSS ESOL teachers, and took part in local cultural and educational excursions during the afternoons.
