Three School Nurses Recognized for National Board Certification

June 14th, 2019

At the June 13 Board of Education meeting, HCPSS Superintendent Michael J. Martirano recognized three school nurses, Sara Bos, Aimee Carlesi and Cheryl Harris, who earned their National Board Certification for School Nurses this school year. To earn this certification, a nurse must demonstrate a high level of education, clinical practice experience and knowledge.

Howard County boasts a total of 14 Nationally Board Certified school nurses–the most of any school district in the state.
