Worthington Elementary Participates in 2018 Kindness Week
November 14th, 2018
Worthington Elementary School recently took on a weeklong kindness challenge. Through a variety of activities, students learned about being kind to their school, their community and themselves. The week kicked off with Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services first responders greeting students as they arrived to school and signed a “kindness pledge.” Themes throughout the week included “I Dream of Kindness,” physical well-being, self expression and more.
The kindness challenge is one example of the many ways HCPSS schools are embracing the Superintendent’s Strategic Call to Action, and HCPSS’ commitment to connect and build healthy school relationships.
