Fulton Elementary Teacher Named Maryland Finalist for the 2018-19 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching

Fulton Elementary School 4th Grade Teacher Danielle Jackson was recently selected as a Maryland finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST).

PAEMST is the highest honor bestowed by the United States government for K-12 mathematics and science teaching. The award recognizes teachers who develop and implement a high-quality instructional program that is informed by content knowledge and enhances student learning.

Jackson was honored at the November 1 Board of Education meeting.
