Monday, May 29
- Memorial Day – Schools and offices are closed. No public events.

Thursday, June 1
- High School Commencement Ceremonies (tickets required)
- 8:00 a.m. – Oakland Mills High School graduation
- 11:00 a.m. – Marriotts Ridge High School graduation
- 2:00 p.m. – Glenelg High School graduation
All high school graduations are held at Merriweather Post Pavilion, 10475 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD.
Friday, June 2
- 8:30 a.m. – HCPSS Partnership Signing – Partnership signing ceremony with Special Olympics Howard County at the Cedar Lane School Challenge Day. Dr. Martirano and Timothy Shriver, Special Olympics Chairman, will provide brief remarks at the opening ceremonies at the Cedar Lane School, 11630 Scaggsville Road, Fulton, MD.
