Early College Program in Cybersecurity Information Session, April 5

March 31st, 2016

The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) Applications and Research Laboratory and Howard Community College will host an information session for ninth-graders and their families to learn about the Early College Program in Cybersecurity. The session will take place on April 5, 6:30–8 p.m., at the Howard Community College Rouse Company Foundation Hall, Room 400, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia.

The Early College Program in Cybersecurity offers a career pathway that lets participating students earn half of the credits needed toward an associate’s degree while enrolled in high school. The program provides individualized academic support, college readiness training, and specialized programming at HCPSS and Howard Community College, and also includes valuable Cybersecurity industry certifications, opportunities to participate in the national CyberPatriot competition, and internships with professionals in the field and industry leaders.
