HCPSS Educator Named Claes Nobel Educator of the Year

Howard County Public Schools educator Jody Zepp has been named the top Claes Nobel Educator of the Year by the National Society of High School Scholars. As the top Educator of the Year, Zepp will be awarded $5,000 to further her professional and educational goals.
The Educators of the Year award recognizes exemplary educators who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to preparing students for success. Zepp will receive her award on December 5 at a recognition ceremony at The Carter Center in Atlanta.
Jody Zepp is an instructional team leader for social studies at Long Reach High School in Columbia, Maryland. Zepp was named the 2014–2015 Maryland State Teacher of the Year.
