Veterans Elementary Annual Salute to Veterans

On November 11, students at Veterans Elementary learned about the sacrifices veterans make to keep our country safe and thanked them for their service at the school’s annual Veterans Day event. Every year, Veterans Elementary School honors those for whom their school is named: the members of Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Yingling-Ridgely Post 7472.

This year’s ceremony included the Presentation of Colors by members of Howard High School’s Junior ROTC, remarks by the Howard County Executive Allan H. Kittleman and musical performances.
