Adjustments to 2025-2026 Board of Education Meeting Schedule

Redistricting Update; Additional Public Hearing Scheduled for Nov. 20, 2025

At its Nov. 13 Redistricting Work Session, the Howard County Board of Education voted to move forward with two preliminary plans for final consideration as part of the boundary review process for the 2026-2027 school year. Per Board of Education Policy 6010 School Attendance Areas, because a new preliminary plan was introduced that includes polygons not previously considered, a public hearing will now be held on Thursday, Nov. 20 during the 4 p.m. session of the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting, followed by a work session.
