HCPSS Saves Over a Quarter-Million Dollars Sharing Resources

The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) has saved an estimated $260,000 in total item purchases through School Swap, an initiative that enables the school system to better utilize existing resources and focus more on the classroom.

Michael Martirano, Interim Superintendent

Dr. Michael Martirano returned to the Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) in May as acting superintendent, and was recently named interim superintendent. A former HCPSS parent and director of school administration, Martirano looks forward to “getting back to the root of what I do–working with kids–at a place I love.”

HCPSS Celebrates 2017 Choose Civility Poster and Video Contest Winners
