High School Advanced Research Program Information Night – Jan. 6. 2027

Parents/guardians of, and students in grades 8-11 are invited to attend a virtual information session on Wednesday, January 6, 2027 from 7-7:45 p.m. on the HCPSS Advanced Research Program, which includes the high school Advanced (ADV) Independent Research, ADV Intern/Mentor course, and the Advanced Placement (AP) Seminar and AP Research courses.

Participants will learn how these courses provide students with advanced skills in research, presenting, networking, writing, problem solving and collaborating —all while studying something of interest to the student.

Families are encouraged to attend the Advanced Research presentations held at their student’s school. Information for the presentation at each high school can be found online.

For the HCPSS county presentation, please register in advance for the information session. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Please indicate on the registration if you are requesting an interpreter no later than November 24. Registration for the county virtual event will close on December 16, 2026.
