HCPSS Students Honored by Junior Achievement of Central Maryland

Five Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) students have been named 2026 Junior Achievement (JA) 18 Under 18 honorees, given to young leaders across Central Maryland who are reshaping the world through their entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, and service to their communities.
HCPSS’ honorees are:
- Sravika Bolla, Mt. Hebron High School
- Maia Hanes, Glenelg High School
- Saanvi Singhal, Dunloggin Middle School
- Saanvi Venumbaka, Hammond High School
- Anika Verma, Howard High School
Honorees will join the JA 18U Rising Leadership Program, a 12-month mentorship initiative that aims to enrich their leadership skills and strengthen their network. In addition, they will be recognized at a Junior Achievement of Central Maryland celebration and in the May 2026 edition of Baltimore Magazine.
