High School Advanced Research Program Information Night – Dec. 9. 2025

Parents/guardians of, and students in grades 8-11 are invited to attend a virtual information session on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 7-7:45 p.m. on the HCPSS Advanced Research Program, which includes the high school Gifted and Talented (G/T) Independent Research, G/T Intern/Mentor course, and the new Advanced Placement (AP) Seminar and AP Research courses available beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

Participants will learn how these courses provide students with advanced skills in research, presenting, networking, writing, problem solving and collaborating —all while studying something of interest to the student.

Register in advance for the information session. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Please indicate on the registration if you are requesting an interpreter no later than November 24.

Advanced Research presentations are also held at individual schools.
