JumpStart Registration Event, April 10, 2025

HCPSS and Howard Community College (HCC) are hosting the second annual JumpStart Registration Event on April 10, 2025. During this event, students who have applied to and been accepted by HCC will receive in-person assistance to finalize their Fall course registration. Family members will have the option to attend a session about the authentic college experiences their student can expect to have at HCC.

Students and families should check into the event at the HVPA building at HCC at 3:45pm, 4:45pm, or 5:45pm. A campus map is available online.

Prior to the April 10 event, students should be sure to:

• Complete the required permission forms in Synergy
• Apply to and be accepted by HCC
• Set up a myHCC user account
• Register for the April 10 event (Log into your myHCC account to do this.)
• Login and password assistance is available online.

Students who are either unable to attend this event or prefer to complete their registrations on their own can use these instructions to do so on or after April 10. Please be aware that popular sections of courses may fill quickly.

Note: Students only interested in taking community college courses in their home high schools do not need to attend April 10th event. Instead, they should work with their high school counselor to schedule their community college courses for the 2025-26 school year.
