HCPSS Students Receive Honorable Mention in C-SPAN Documentary Competition

Several HCPSS high school students recently received the distinction of Honorable Mention in the 2025 C-SPAN StudentCam Competition. The competition, which was open to students in grades 6-12, asked students to create a video documentary on the topic of “Your Message to the President: What issue is most important to you or your community?”

The annual StudentCam competition is funded by the C-SPAN Education Foundation. Videos were evaluated by a panel of educators and C-SPAN representatives based on the thoughtful examination of the competition’s theme, quality of expression, inclusion of varying sides of the documentary’s topic and effective incorporation of C-SPAN programming.
