New Partnership Supports Students with College Planning and Financial Aid

HCPSS recently signed a partnership agreement with college planning advisor and software developer College Aid Pro. Under the terms of the agreement, College Aid Pro will offer a free, monthly webinar series includes topics for 12th graders on navigating senior year: and planning, paying, and preparing for college with confidence; and for all high school students on planning ahead; maximizing scholarships; and getting a head start. Details on the webinar series, how to register, bi-weekly Q&A sessions, and more are available online.

As part of the partnership, College Aid Pro will also offer professional workshop sessions for HCPSS staff on topics such as financial aid and assist counselors in supporting families through the college application process.

The HCPSS Partnerships Office has united schools with more than 1,000 businesses and community organizations to enhance the educational experience of Howard County students. Partnerships benefit schools, businesses and the entire community by leveraging the resources of all participants. Partners may commit human or financial resources or other support.
