HCPSS Seeks Members for LGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee by Sept. 20, 2024

Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) is currently seeking members to participate on its LGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee. Any community member who has an interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ HCPSS students is encouraged to apply for participation.

Committee members will attend four meetings (listed below) to receive updates as well as to provide ideas and input regarding priority topics as decided by the committee as well as guest speakers, activities, and special events to support staff and student learning.

• Wednesday, Oct. 9, 5:30 – 6:30pm
• Wednesday, Dec. 4, 5:30 – 6:30pm
• Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, 5:30 – 6:30pm
• Wednesday, April 2, 5:30 – 6:30pm

Meetings during the 2024-2025 school year will be held virtually via Google Meet. Interested participants are asked to complete an online interest form by Sept. 20.
