HCPSS Extends Application Deadline on Two Executive Vacancies

The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) extended the application deadline for the following positions to Friday, June 21, 2024:

• Chief Academic Officer
• Chief Equity and Innovation Officer

The positions were originally posted requiring certain certifications not required for the position. While those credentials are commendable and would increase the appeal in a candidate, they were inadvertently included as a requirement for positions where they are not necessary. This correction ensures the pool of high-quality candidates is as extensive as possible.

HCPSS continues to seek highly qualified people who want to engage in meaningful and impactful work on behalf of children and is currently accepting applications for the following organizational leadership positions (unless indicated, positions close at the close of business on June 18):
