Board of Education Seeks Community Input on HCPSS Superintendent Search

March 18th, 2024

Update: April 8, 2024

The survey is now closed. Members of the public may continue to provide feedback to the Board of Education by emailing supesearch@hcpss.org.

Via online survey, the Howard County Board of Education is seeking community input in the search for a permanent Howard County Public School System Superintendent. The survey will be open through Friday, April 5.

A brief online survey is the Board of Education’s initial step to seek stakeholder input regarding characteristics a Superintendent should possess to effectively lead the HCPSS. Survey questions include thoughts on leadership qualities, ways to show value and community engagement, experience, priorities, and also includes room for additional comments.

No final decisions will be made based on the results of this survey.

Please note, the survey asks users to identify whether you are a student, parent, staff or community member. Please choose the role that best represents your perspective when responding to the survey. If you would like to provide input from multiple role perspectives, please complete a separate survey for each role.

More information on the Superintendent search can be found online.
