Please see below for information related to transportation and the shift in start times, which becomes effective Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Supporting the On-Time Arrival of Buses
HCPSS Superintendent Dr. Michael Martirano today presented the Plan to Support On-Time Arrival of Buses during a Board of Education work session. A memo from Dr. Martirano to the Board, along with his presentation can be found online. Board members held a public work session on transportation and that information also is online.
New School Start Times, Sept. 20
To build additional time into the student transportation schedule and prioritize getting every student to school on time, school start and end times will shift effective Wednesday, Sept. 20. All new start and dismissal times can be found online.
Adjusted Bus Pickup/Drop-Off Times
HCPSS has updated its online bus locator, however families should continue using their current times through Tuesday.
- Through Tuesday, Sept. 19 – Utilize the current pickup and drop-off times to determine bus pickup/drop-off times
- Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 20 – New pick-up times will be in effect. You can log in to HCPSS Connect Synergy, select More Options and then Homeroom / Transportation / POS to determine bus times. This information also can be found in the HCPSS online bus locator.
