The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) hosted a Networking Fair on August 21 for its school counselors, school psychologists, school social workers, pupil personnel workers and other staff in HCPSS’ Office of Program Innovation and Student Well-Being to engage with service providers and community agencies that support student well-being in Howard County.

HCPSS staff were able to directly interact with 60 vendors—including mental health providers, food and housing agencies, the Howard County Health Department, and others—at the event. In the process, they learned about services and resources the vendors provide. They also made personal connections with vendors, helping to facilitate future communication and collaboration in support of HCPSS students and families.
