Howard County Health Department Peer Recovery Specialists at The Mall in Columbia, June 12-29, 2023

In partnership with HCPSS, Howard County Health Department (HCHD) Peer Recovery Specialists will be on-site at The Mall in Columbia to provide judgment- and stigma-free support to anyone seeking guidance related to substance use and/or co-occurring disorders; wherever a person may be in their own recovery process.

HCHD Peer Recovery Specialists are certified health workers with training in advocacy, ethics, mentoring and education, and Harm Reduction.

HCHD Peer Recovery Specialists will be at The Mall in Columbia Food Court and available to provide support on following dates and times:

• June 12-15, 1-7 p.m.
• June 16-17, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
• June 20, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
• June 21-23, 12-4 p.m.
• June 24, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
• June 26-29, 12-4 p.m.
