2023 Summer Programs Registration Requests Open April 1-15, 2023

Online enrollment requests for currently enrolled HCPSS students will reopen Saturday, April 1 at 6 p.m. for the following programs (NOTE: the BSAP Summer Institute is CLOSED for enrollment):

• Gifted and Talented Summer Institutes for Talent Development (Entering Grades 1-8) has availability for four middle school classes; all other classes can be requested for the waitlist.
• Innovative Pathways High School (Entering Grade 9 and Current Grades 9-12) has availability for most courses. Credit recovery and Gear Up for Grade 9 course requests may only be made by a school counselor.
• Summer Math Scholars Program (Entering Grades 6-8)
• STARTALK Chinese Language Summer Camp (Entering Grades 6-8)

NOTE: Invitations for eligible HCPSS students for Academic Intervention and Extended School Year Special Education programs will come directly from the school or special education team in the spring.

Enrollment requests can be made by a parent, guardian, school counselor or school achievement liaison made via HCPSS Connect Synergy. Directions are available online. Before submitting a request, review the program course lists to ensure they are still available to request.

Review Enrollment Requests

Parents/guardians will be notified via email of enrollment status (enrolled or waitlisted) at the end of the month in which the request was made. As course placement is completed, you may check the status of the enrollment request. The instructions for reviewing requests are included in the Register for Summer Programs document.

Payments and Withdrawal Requests

Parents/guardians will be emailed an invoice and payment instructions once the student has been enrolled in a program. Payments may be made by check, money order or credit card. You DO NOT have to make payment through MySchoolBucks. Full payment is due prior to the program start date.

Prior to enrollment, a parent/guardian or school counselor may submit a registration withdrawal request online through the Synergy Parent Portal on HCPSS Connect. Instructions for requesting withdrawal are included in the Register for Summer Programs document.
