The U.S. Department of Education recently recognized Mount View Middle School as one of 367 National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2020. Mount View Middle School received a five out of five star rating from the most recent Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) School Report Card, which looks at factors such as academic achievement, rate of chronic absenteeism and access to a well-rounded curriculum. On state tests, 77.1% of Mount View Middle School students scored as proficient or higher in math and 79% of students in English Language Arts.
