HCPSS Teacher Appointed President-Elect of the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics

Robin White, a Math Instructional Support Teacher at Reservoir and Marriotts Ridge high schools, was recently appointed president-elect of the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

She was honored at the Dec. 3 Board of Education meeting. There, HCPSS Superintendent Michael J. Martirano said, “Ms. White’s outstanding leadership is critically needed at a time when access, equity and student empowerment in mathematics teaching and learning are crucial priorities at both the district and state levels.”
