Clemens Crossing ES Teacher Wins 2018 BGE Bright Ideas Teacher Grant

Clemens Crossing Elementary School Second Grade Teacher Kelly McKim recently became a winner of the BGE Bright Ideas Teacher Grant. The grants supports K-12 teachers working to expand innovative ideas for academic enhancement and workforce development in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines. The grants of up to $500 support in-classroom projects related to science, innovation, energy efficiency or the environment.

McKim was recognized at the Dec. 18 Board of Education meeting.
