Board of Education to Hold Third Public Hearing on Attendance Area Adjustments, November 7

The Howard County Board of Education will hold the third planned Public Hearing on Attendance Area Adjustments at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The session will take place in the auditorium at River Hill High School, 12101 Clarksville Pike in Clarksville.

Individuals who wish to testify at the public hearing are asked to limit their presentation to three minutes and to provide 15 written copies of their testimony at the time of the hearings. Pre-registration will take place during business hours within the three weeks prior to the hearings, up to the close of business on the last working day before the hearing.

The hearing will be shown live on the HCPSS website, and an archived version will be available for online viewing shortly after the event. The hearing also will be rebroadcast on HCPSS-TV at a later date. A full HCPSS-TV schedule is available online.

Individuals may request a sign language interpreter for any meeting of the Board of Education by contacting Colleen Markiewicz, interpreter scheduler, at 410-313-7046. A two-week advance notice is preferred.
