The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) dominated the list of the Best Public Elementary Schools in Maryland, according to a report released this week by Niche.com, an education and community analysis firm.
“Howard County can be proud of its public schools,” said HCPSS Superintendent Dr. Renee A. Foose. “HCPSS prepares children for success throughout their academic careers and provides students with a strong foundation for lifelong learning.”
Thirty-two HCPSS elementary schools made the list of 100 schools, with eight of the top 10 schools on the list being HCPSS schools. The complete Maryland public elementary school rankings can be viewed online at https://www.niche.com/k12/rankings/public-elementary-schools/best-overall/s/maryland/.
