Education and the Economy to be Discussed at Bright Minds Foundation Event, Feb. 9

Members of the media are invited to “Education and the Economy—Locally and Globally,” an event featuring experts highlighting the links between education and the local, national and global economy. The event will be held on Thursday, February 9, 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., at Turf Valley Conference Center in Ellicott City.
Speakers will offer unique and expert perspectives on college and career readiness, benchmarking Howard County public schools against the world’s best, and the need for an economy driven by a highly educated work force and a high quality school system.
