Economic Impact of Howard County Public Schools To Be Discussed at Education Foundation Event

The Bright Minds Foundation and the Howard County Public School System will host an event with education and economic policy experts to discuss, “The Economic Implications of Howard County’s State-Leading School System.”
The program, The Business and Economic Impact of the Howard County Public School System Locally and Globally, will be held at Turf Valley on January 7, 2016, at 6 p.m.
Speakers will offer unique and expert perspectives:
- Freeman A. Hrabowski III, Ph.D., President of UMBC, will discuss the imperative for a global education
- Anirban Basu, J.D., President and CEO, Sage Policy Group, will discuss the results of an analysis conducted for the school system regarding the economic impact of education in Howard County
- Renee A. Foose, Ed.D., Superintendent, Howard County Public School System, will discuss sustaining success and excellence in public education.
