BOE to Hold Special Meeting and Attendance Area Adjustment Work Session #1 on October 31, 2012, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The Howard County BOE has rescheduled the special meeting and attendance area adjustment work session #1 for Wednesday, October 31, 2012, beginning at 1:00 p.m., in the Board Room at the Department of Education , 10910 Clarksville Pike in Ellicott City.

The special meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m.  The purpose of this meeting is to discuss a $20-30 million competitive federal grant opportunity to support personalized student learning, to provide teachers with flexible options for delivering instruction through digital media, and to connect student learning to college and high wage workforce development.

The attendance area adjustment work session #1 will begin following a short recess.
