High School Curricular Art Showcase Open House, May 7, 2026

The public is invited to attend the High School Curricular Art Showcase Open House on Thursday, May 7 from 5-6:00 p.m. at the Howard County Department of Education (10910 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City).

The showcase features student work from Art 2 and Photography 1, second-level high school courses that emphasize skill development, creative exploration, visual communication, and meaning-making. This exhibition also highlights student growth through the use of a variety of art-making materials and photographic processes and reflects HCPSS’s commitment to high-quality visual arts education as an essential part of a well-rounded academic experience.

Please note the open house is the only opportunity for the public to view the exhibition. Visitors are not otherwise granted access to the Department of Education building. All showcase attendees must enter through the front door and sign in at the security desk. Please bring a photo I.D.
