Class of 2026 Graduation Dates Forthcoming

Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) high school graduation ceremonies have long been held at Merriweather Post Pavilion (MPP). HCPSS is fortunate to have a local venue like Merriweather that allows graduation ceremonies to be held under cover providing protection from rain, and shade in sunny and high temperature days, etc. Ceremonies at MPP also allow schools to accommodate a large number of guests and provide the technology for HCPSS to stream ceremonies live online so additional family and friends can watch.

Merriweather Post Pavilion is a top venue in the state and its schedule of concerts and events can be fluid, even up until graduations. Students, parents/guardians, and family members undoubtedly are anxiously awaiting their specific graduation details; understandable as travel and other arrangements need to be made. HCPSS will share these details as soon as staff receive confirmation from MPP that our proposed schedule is approved. Traditionally, that information has not been available until late-March/mid-April.
