Middle School Art Showcase Reception, December 10, 2025

The public is invited to attend the 2025 Middle School Art Showcase Reception, Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 5-6:00 p.m. at the Howard County Department of Education (10910 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City).

Please note the reception is the only opportunity for the public to view the exhibition. Visitors are not otherwise granted access to the building. All showcase attendees must enter through the front door and sign in at the security desk. Please bring a photo I.D.

The showcase features works by Howard County students enrolled in Visual Arts Studio A, a full-year course for seventh and eighth graders designed to foster inquiry, experimentation, and artistic growth. The works on display demonstrate how students develop and apply studio skills as they investigate personal meaning, respond to artistic challenges, and make intentional choices throughout the artistic process.
