Board of Education Public Hearing on Redistricting Added for Nov. 20, 2025

The Howard County Board of Education will hold a public hearing on Redistricting Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, during the afternoon session of its regularly scheduled meeting.

The hearing was added following a Board work session on Nov. 13, during which new polygons (school attendance areas) were added for consideration to be redistricted. Per Board of Education Policy 6010 School Attendance Areas, when new polygons are considered, the Board is to provide opportunities for public feedback.

The hearing is open to the public; however, families in the newly impacted polygons will be given priority. Registration is open now through 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19.
