HCPSSHCPSS Seeks Members for Strategic Planning Advisory Committee by Sept. 3, 2024

The Howard County Public School System invites residents to take an active role in providing input to the development of a new Strategic Plan. The knowledge, experience and perspective shared by community stakeholders is used to improve the strategic planning input process and ensure transparency at every stage of the committee’s work.
HCPSS is currently seeking a general resident candidate for membership on the 2024-2025 Strategic Planning Advisory Committee. This advisory committee will include one member representing the general resident stakeholder group. Members of this committee will attend four meetings to discuss and make recommendations to the Superintendent and Executive Staff regarding aspects of the Strategic Plan.
The Advisory Committee meeting dates are as follows:
- Sept. 11, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Department of Education, 10910 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City
- Oct. 9, 5:30-7:30 p.m., virtual
- Oct. 23, 5:30-7:30 p.m., virtual
- Nov. 13, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Department of Education, 10910 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott Cit
Advisory Committee members are expected to attend/participate in all committee meetings.
Residents interested in participating should complete this online statement of interest by 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3. A confirmation email with additional details will be sent to the individual selected to participate on the committee.
