HCPSS Seeks Members for Resource Reevaluation Committee

HCPSS is seeking Howard County teachers, citizens, and HCPSS students in grades 9 -11 to serve on the Resource Reevaluation Committee. This committee consists of teachers, students, parents, and community members who meet to review any materials requested for reevaluation.

Membership is for two years (2023-2025). All meetings will be held virtually and copies of any texts under review will be provided. Guidelines for this process are outlined in HCPSS Policy 8040 Selection of Instructional Resources.

Interested participants should submit an application by October 15, 2023.

All applicants will be notified about the status of their application by October 30.
